HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES IN WATER AND SEDIMENTS OF OLT RIVER, DOWNSTREAM FROM RM. VALCEA

ABSTRACT

 

 The study assess the level of priority hazardous substances (Ni, Cu, Cd, Zn, Mn, Cr, Co, Pb, Hg, 1.2 Dichloroethane, 1.1.2 Trichloroethylene, Perchloroethylene, 1.2.4 Trichlorobenzene) in water and sediments of Olt River in the industrial platform Rm. Valcea in 2011. The sources of pollution are Rm. Valcea and industrial activities situated on the left bank of the Olt River.
