ABSTRACT

Ultrasounds are used in many and various applications such sonochemistry disintegration, degassing, cleaning, measuring, machining and can be applied to accelerate and optimize the electrochemical processes that occur in a fuel cell.

The main fuel cell electrochemical reactions and overall processes are brief described for a various cells type with focus on proton exchange membrane fuel cell.  exploitation can potentially solved by using ultrasounds systems.

Keywords: ultrasounds, fuel cell, hydrogen, electrochemistry, sonochemistry.
