ABSTRACT:

Fuel cells are electrochemical devices that convert chemical energy of the fuel into electricity at high efficiency without combustion. Fuel cells are viewed as viable power sources for many applications, including ground transport, distributed power generation and portable electronics. This paper presents the results obtained by the ICIT-Rm. Valcea regarding the Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cells (PEMFCs) development.
