ABSTRACT

The chemical composition of essential oils and elemental content of plants of T. scordium, T. hircanicum, T. chamaedrys, T. botrys and T. polium species performed by gas chromatography-mass spectrometry and neutron activation analyses are reported. The GC-MS analysis allowed the identification of 13 to 32 components in the analyzed essential oil samples. A total of 25 chemical elements were determined in plant species by means of NAA method.

Keywords: Teucrium, GC-MS analysis, neutron activation analysis, elemental content.
