PREDICTION THE NECKING LOCATION IN METAL UNIAXIAL DEFORMATION BY USING THERMOVISION

ABSTRACT
Thermovision has a large scale of utilizations in all fields where temperature differences could be used to evaluate, to diagnose, or to analyze a process in industrial activities and experimental research laboratories. The paper presents the correlation between the elasto-plastic deformation and thermal behavior during deformation asset by Thermovision method for a structural steel with improved atmospheric corrosion resistance usually recommended for welded metallic constructions, for liquid storing vessels with no external pressure utilized in food industry equipments, and environmental engineering equipments operating in low or medium atmospheric corrosion.
