ABSTRACT

Proton exchange membranes are one of the most promising fuel cell technologies for transportation applications. For the successful implementation in fuel cell vehicles, their performance, reliability, durability, should be well proved.. Therefore, during transients, in order to generate a reliable and efficient power response and to prevent membrane damage, is necessary to design better parameter control schemes. This paper presents the behavior of electrical parameters when operating parameters are changed for an testing cell.

KEYWORDS: fuel cell, operating parameters, efficiency, polarization curves.
